We Need More Recognition

Gossip.
So I have some tips for you guys on gossip.
To start off, it's hurtful and can be dangerous.
Gossip can start as simple and just making smalltalk and end up blown up to the point where someone gets hurt.
Example: "Did you see Hannah's makeup today? Oh my green beans she looked like someone smeared her lip gloss all over her face!"
And that could go to another person then another and it could end up being "Did you hear that Hannah was making out with Jerome before school? Yeah then Todd too!"
I'm not saying that this is guaranteed to happen, but it could.
Gossip can be avoided in many ways.
When someone says something to you, you can say things like
"Oh, well that's not good" and leave it alone or "well I gotta go"
If you're hardcore like me, say something like "I don't think it's right to talk about people. It WILL get back to you."
There are many ways to avoid gossip. A good way is to not talk about people, and when things happen, let them happen. Don't go around telling people what was said or done. It's none of your business.
The main key to think about- None of your business.
I wish I could get across to everyone that people all have issues.
You could be the star football player and have facial acne.
You could be the head cheerleader and had headgear as a kid.
Either way everyone has issues. Whether you look like a barbie or ken doll, or you just plain look original.
One more thing is originality.
Don't be emo just because you want to stand out.
Don't be the first girl to do it in your grade just to stand out from everyone else.
Don't cut yourself and show it to people just to get attention.
Show everyone the positive side of you:
A smart girl that has the potential to be getting straight A's
A great artist that can draw like it were to save their life.
A singer, that would be able to blow any of today's artists out of the room
A person that can act.
A person that can play soccer.
A person that can do calculus easily.
A person. With thoughts. And courage.
You know you are. And you know that life is not gonna be easy. But it can be easier if your easier on yourself and other people.
Take that and think about it.
